Protector Lamp & Lighting Co Type 6 M&Q Miner’s Safety Lamp – Eccles England

This is an original Protector Lamp & Lighting Co. Ltd Type 6 M&Q Safety Lamp, made in Eccles, England. A genuine piece of British mining history, complete with its original brass body, glass chamber, burner assembly and engraved approval plate.

These lamps were used underground to safely detect gas and provide reliable light. Today they’re highly collectible and make fantastic industrial décor pieces.

• Just slight wear to the bottom, consistent with age
